Mission of the nalu film foundation

To preserve the iconic moving pictures and still images of the action sports world: completed movies, raw film and video footage, photographs, and print art. We honor the breathtaking skill of the athletes, filmmakers, and photographers from the worldwide action sports community: surfing (and related water sports), skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing, motocross, BMX, and more.

The Nalu Film Foundation is committed to preserving archival collections by scanning films, slides, and photos, as well as digitizing videos in all formats. Our goal is to create a searchable database for easy access to these collections in the near future. All archives are backed up to LTO and securely stored to ensure the preservation of iconic and historical action sports archives for future generations.
