Since the sudden passing of legendary filmmaker Sonny Miller in 2014, Derek Hoffmann has passionately self-funded this mission to preserve his dear friend’s legacy.What began as an effort to protect Sonny’s invaluable archive has grown into something much larger — a heartfelt commitment to safeguarding the rich history of surfing and action sports for future generations.Every day, we carefully scan irreplaceable film reels, digitize aging videotapes, and preserve precious photographs in our Mission Viejo archiving office.
