Preserving Action Sports Film History

The Nalu Film Foundation is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and sharing the world's most significant action sports film archives. This includes rare 16mm surf reels shot on Hawaii's North Shore, as well as landmark snowboarding and skateboarding films from the 1980s and '90s. These collections represent an irreplaceable record of action sports culture, highlighting the athletes, filmmakers, and communities that have shaped it.
